A Place Of Your Own (APOYO)
A Place Of Your Own has been developed and designed in consultation with those requiring support to manage a tenancy and has helped hundreds of young people and adults develop their skills and knowledge to enable them to live independently.
APOYO is suitable to people of all ages and to those who are taking on their first tenancy, those who have previously failed in a tenancy and those currently struggling to manage their tenancy.
We welcome interest from schools, businesses, housing associations, local authorities and private letting agents.
Delivered successfully for many years in face to face / workbook setting, APOYO has now transitioned to an online platform for ease of use.
The development of the training programme involved input from many service users in supported accommodation settings, tenancy workers and staff members contributing to the design and content to ensure the package was suitable for all people to complete.
